Awesome stuff Fred and right on!! I’d add that good accountability is awareness of how you are doing specifically on your 20%. Awareness of what barriers or distractions are stopping you from achieving your 20%. What can you do to be better at your 20%? Was your schedule last week specifically designed around your 20%? Awareness of your commitment to master your 20%. Too many weekly talks are conversations about lists of things not in the 20 instead of habits and mastery of the 20. If we only spent time in awareness of our level of mastery of the 20%, we would all win.

  2. I couldn’t agree more, great way of defining what accountability really is. Good reminder of both how I should be coaching my team, as well as making sure I have the mechanisms in place so that I’m held accountable in positive ways.

  3. Great vlog! Something I realized today is accountability helps to achieve integrity.
When you are held accountable for the commitments you make to your sel,f to you coach, to your team, and to your family you will see the areas in your life where you are delivering integrity and where you need to step it up!

  4. I loved your video this week. It has been a huge topic in my region and on my team. Accountability/Awareness can also be going described as going from the unconscious competent to the conscious compentent. It’s all about bringing awareness consisentenly to the daily activities that need done. Success is no more than consistenly completing the daily acitivites that need done regardless of how you feel. Nice Job Fred!

Love all the comments on the blog today.

I love your addition around awareness of our 20% Seth and moving to the conscious competent Kristan – both those comments have given me some extra insight so thank you! And Elizabeth I totally agree that accountability helps us to remain in integrity!
