Let me tell you a story about Tara...
Tara had been denied multiple times for a loan mod over the course of 2+ years.. Thats MORE THAN 2 FREAKING years! Tara finally came back to us after said she had had enough and she was ready to short sale the house. We listed Tara’s house , got it under contract within 45 days, negotiated it within 60 and then closed the deal 3 weeks later. No if that isn’t a loan mod to short sale success story then I don’t know what is.
If you’re like me, you get tired of prospects telling you they are working on a loan mod with the bank or that the bank was going to help them with a loan mod. Well since we all know loan mods eventually fail (because 95+% of them do fail, its a FACT) we should also know that we have to stay in front of these people and be at the top of their mind when they were denied help from the bank.
See these are people that are going to eventually list their home for sale (eventually) we just didn’t know when. So if we stay in front of them when they get frustrated with the loan mod process we could swoop in, list the home, get the short sale approved, close the deal and save the day.
In order to stay in front of these people Fred and I decided we should help by giving them some advice on how to deal with the bank so we created two things. (I know this sounds CRAZY, after-all I am the guy that just said loan mods fail) Ok back to my points, we created two items for our “loan mod prospects” #1 - A “Do It Yourself Loan Mod” guide for consumers that they can download from our website.
