Well “Melissa” is very pleasant and she really does a good job forwarding my calls to my negotiator whose voicemail is always FULL. 🙂 Then I get to call back and hear “Melissa” again and have her transfer me to a live operator so that person can email my negotiator — which is odd — since they don’t use email or so they say.

I too have had issues with faxes that I have sent and they can’t seem to locate until the search and search and search.

I believe this is my 2nd file with Aurora — the first one did go through quickly but that was some time ago. I’m hoping this one works the same and we can get it moving along and get an approval soon. I will let you know how it works out. 🙂

Thanks Guys!! Have a super duper weekend!!

We are working two Aurora files, first one is very slow in review for 3+ weeks before assigned, second one in review 5 days and now being assigned…so it looks to be getting better but still bad. Keep Crushing it!

I hope that Equator is hot after Aurora.. If I have to deal with any more lost faxes there I am going to pull whats left of my hair out.

Timing has never been that much of an issue for me with Aurora. My problem with Aurora is their inability to make good decisions on files. I’ve yet to get one approved and closed because they seem to get hung up on asking for outrageous contributions from the sellers. They declined an $85,000 FM offer because the seller couldn’t contribute $8,000 to the sale. 12 months later they sold that same property as an REO for $54,000. I’m now working my 3rd offer on another property and again, they are requiring a seller contribution greater than what the borrowers have access to.

No, I do not believe Aurora is getting any better….

I have only worked one file with Aurora (thank God). It took over a year to get an approval after turning down offers, then lowering the price, turning down offers, lowering the price. Finally got an approval and sent final papers for Seller to sign for a remote closing. Papers return to closing company on Friday for the Monday close. Seller made a mistake. Called wife on Monday to resend to get corrected. Seller died over weekend. Went to Foreclosure. After 3 years from start of Short sale, property has still not sold.
