So timely. Thanks for being you!
=) Right back at you!
I’m finding this to be one of the most time consuming parts of adding an assistant to my processes. I expect certain things to be done, but I’m finding that inspecting whether or not they are done right or not is also part of the process.
@John – It doesn’t have to be hard (if you hire talent) it just has to get done. Consider coming to a MegaRSTLM class soon and find out what I am talking about.
I’m in the process of training our new lead buyer specialist and I’ll tell you that inspecting what he is doing, following up on his progress and consulting with him regularly is making of the difference in the world. I expect a lot from him.
Thanks for the timely reminder gents.
Thanks for sharing, and you are right on the money about not inspecting when things seem to be going right.
Guys, Thank you for the transparency! See you in Austin!
I know a lot of leaders that fail to do this because they don’t want to “micro-manage” or do this to the level of actually micro-managing. Think of it this way. If you hired and trained well up front, you should trust that your people are doing the right things. Looking at your processes and “how” they are accomplished consistently is a great feedback system for the people that work for you. You are verifying that trust. If you build this feedback into the expectations up front and do it consistently, the talented people that work for you, and with you, will thank you for it.
Good stuff as always K-Fred.
I so miss the, “short sale power hour” chant at the end your videos. You guys need a new one! That being said, very good message and EXTREMELY important if you’re running team.
Right on boys! See ya at mega camp.
