Martin Andelman Rocked It – Message From Freddie Mac on Strategic Defaulters

Martin-Adleman-258x300Kevin Kauffman and Fred Weaver react to a great article by Martin Mandelman.  Strategic Default isn’t wrong – big business does it all the time.

Read Mr. Mandelman’s article right now!  Here is a just a taste.

The core message in his article [talking about and article written by: Donald Bisenius, Executive Vice President in charge of Freddie Mac’s Single Family Credit Guarantee Business], titled “A Perspective on Strategic Defaults,” as described in the Wall Street Journal, is “Please Don’t Do It,” and after reading it on Freddie Mac’s Website just this morning… Yowza! Now, I’m head over heels in love with the idea of strategically defaulting! Thanks Donald!

Mandelman Matters is must in the toolbox of every short sale negotiator.

Marty – come on the show and crush it!

I escalated a file to US Bank and they called to ask if I got a certain number from Group 46:10. So, yes, Marty – the banks are listening to Fred and Kevin, too.

Many of my clients have been strategically defaulting for about a year now. Its dubbed “strategic exit” and is a damn good business decision. And yes, the banks are closing them. They don’t want to be in the real estate business whatsoever.

(Work of caution – they have done a “forensic audit” on a file here and there, meaning they pull the original file to check for prior fraud.)

Here’s the truth – the banks made trillions of dollars in ’04, ’05, ’06 and some of ’07. They didn’t just lend money – they took in trillions of hard earned savings. Some of my clients paid cash, some put $100K down etc. This is money they will never see again in their lifetime and this is why I fight for them.

Yes, the banks are losing money but their reserves are far from being empty. The fact that they keep borrowing money so they can safeguard and hide their own money should miff us all off.

The next step in the war is political action, such as a lobby for short sale negotiators. I vote Marty in as lobbyist. After that, class action lawsuits. The banks are afraid of lawsuits, it costs them LOTS of money. (Re: Judges decision over IndyMac for unconscionable actions against a homeowner)

Just my two cents for what its worth…

US Bank asked me how I got their info.

    I said from the web.

    They asked “From Group 46:10?”

Said, not sure, I google everyone, could have been jigsaw.

Actually, it was from shortsalesuperstars, tho.

@Short Sales: You gotta love the mindset of a bank that cares where you got their contact information rather than just helping you out and helping their customer/the borrower.

Don’t even get me started or I might film another video before I got to bed tonight if I’m too fired up 😉
