There is no doubt that PHH is the WORST in the business, but Joe is pretty good if you are over the top nice to him. I closed one with him a couple months back, and he is reviewing another one now. After 6 months of no response, the property went to auction, but he rescinded the auction and is now reviewing it. I still expect another ridiculously long wait, but at least he reversed the sale.
It’s probably the most dramatic hardship I’ve seen, with the husband’s wife being murdered last year with no life insurance, and the husband caring for 2 young daughters by himself. However, that fact has fallen on deaf ears at PHH, and they haven’t been moved to take any real action on the file yet. We continue to wait for some intelligent life out there…
Matt – Joe is hands down one of the top 5 worst negotiators I have ever worked with. Its like he wants to make his job harder than it really is.
