Average Sucks

It often feels like changing our lives requires us to work harder, but what if you found out that it comes down to making life easier? It can be.

There’s an invisible law that governs what we can or cannot do, our ability to achieve the goals we have and go after the life we want. It can be summed up as our average. Our average owns us, controls us and dominates all the actions we take in order to get to the next level.

To do anything, we need to build ourselves up to be the person who automatically gets what they want. That means we need to raise our average so that performing at a higher level becomes an automatic action, not a heavy effort.

We are what you currently do, our average is what we do. If what we’re doing is not what we want, the goal should be to raise our average. We are all owned by our current identity, and that’s our average. In order to get any better, we need to focus on growth, this will be the catalyst for a higher average. It’s key to communicate with yourself differently and think about development differently.

Micheal Bernoff, knows about this and just wrote a book about how we can go about becoming better. The book has been wildly successful, selling fast and garnering lots of praise.

3 Things We Learned from Michael Bernoff

We need to grow, step over that wall and into the life we want

There’s 3 ways to change your life. The first is getting someone else to teach and coach you. The second is trying to do it yourself banging your head against the wall hoping to push through. The third way is to outgrow your current situation and step out of it.

You need to build your wantingness and obsession towards something that you shouldn’t have to force

Most people are spending their gravitationally pulling to be like someone else instead of working to fully show up as themselves

We only have the ability to be the best we can be, not somebody else. There’s a difference between being good based on your current reality, being good based on your capability and potential and being someone else.

Covid-19 is just the current excuse for not doing what they said they would

This time is a great opportunity to gain market share and grow. The people who are using Covid-19 as an excuse not to take action would use another excuse at any other time.
