    UZI,
    i believe a jackrod is the short metal cylindrical tool used to raise the hydralic foot of a device that lifts your vehicle off the ground in order to change a tire….or it could be a hybrid word created from the slang terms “jackass” and “nimrod”….but that is PURELY speculation.
